Facilities for deaf and hard of hearing audiences

The auditorium is equipped with an inductive loop for people with hearing aids equipped with a T-switch.

Captions display dialogue on-screen and also describe the audio or sound portion of a film (eg when a door slams, when a phone rings), allowing viewers who are deaf or hard of hearing to follow the script and the action of a film at the same time.

We aim to show one at least captioned screening per month. These screenings are clearly marked on our website listings as ‘Captioned’.

Facilities for visually impaired audiences

Audio Description (AD) is a voice commentary that fits between the dialogue of a film and describes body language, facial expressions and film action, making movies easier to follow. People hear the AD soundtrack through headphones linked to the wireless audio system, so it doesn’t affect anyone else in the cinema.

We have wireless headsets which can be set for Audio Description for use on most of our main screenings.  These can be borrowed from the Box Office and returned after the film. Please ask a member of staff, who will be happy to assist.

Guide dogs and assistance dogs

Registered Guide dogs and assistance dogs are welcome and we are happy to provide them with water.

Emotional support animals

With regret, we are unable to accommodate emotional support animals.
