Mabie Forest Ride

We'll head out on the Maxwelltown path. This is a lovely stretch of traffic free, flat and safe cycling, with no road crossings. Once we get to the end we descend the ramp and follow the shared use path along he Garroch Loaning. We’ll carefully cross at Cargenbridge and continue to follow the shared use path out of town. We then join the Mabie Farm Park Road. This is generally a quiet road with passing places which cycled as a group is easy to tackle. We then turn into Mabie Farm Park and take the track past here to the sawmill in Mabie Forest. After a break for cake and a toilet stop we then make the same journey in reverse.
