Auldgirth Ride - An Afternoon Amble to Auldgirth

With properly nice May weather finally upon us, we’re looking forward to our next outing on Sunday, a jaunt to Auldgirth. As the title hints, we’ve got a new starting time for our Sunday rides, so we’ll be meeting at 2pm on Sunday 31st May at the bridge by the Rowing Club to take advantage of the longer light evenings at this time of year.

This is a 21 mile outing, with the possibility of a coffee stop at Dalswinton (Blumen doesn’t really run to lunch though, so bring your own). Depending on which way round we ride it, there’s a bit of a sharp climb up to Coldside Road, but the pace will as ever be gentle with plenty of stops to admire the views.
