About This Event

Calling all women - do you want to get to better grips with maintaining your bike? Or do you have excellent bike fettling skills you'd like to share with others? Or do you just want to spend a couple of hours every fortnight messing around with bikes in likeminded company? If you said yes to any of these, then Spanner Sisters is for you!

Each session will consist of a short explanation/demonstration covering the basics of our chosen topic, followed by a chance to get some hands on practice, either on your own bike or one of the bikes in the workshop. We'll try and pair people up so they can share skills, tips and techniques so whether you're a complete beginner or an experienced bike wrencher, there will be something for you, we hope!

As with all our Community Workshop sessions, we don't want price to be a barrier, so there's no fee for attending but a donation would be appreciated to help cover our costs and allow us to keep the workshop running. You can bring your bike if you want. especially if you want to practise on it, although if it is an ebike you will need to be able to remove the battery to bring it into the workshop (this is a condition of our insurance).
