About this event
Join change makers, creative practitioners, community leaders and creative technologists from across Scotland for a day of talks, hands-on workshops, playful experiments and conversation.
Gathering | IRL: LAB
Explore what happens when creative technology meets community arts, heritage, regeneration and creative placemaking. How could these approaches bring heritage to life, make space for people’s voices or open up new ways to take part in shaping a place?
Bring an idea you’d like to develop, a challenge from your work or a question about your place. Or simply bring your curiosity and see what sparks. No technical experience is needed, and you don’t need to know how creative technology might fit into your work.
There will also be space to explore the bigger questions. As technologies such as AI develop rapidly, how can people working with communities help shape how they’re used, understand their impacts and navigate the tensions they bring?
