The Last Journey is a photographic exhibition by Gerry Robertson, evoking the last few weeks of Burns's life from the Brow Well to his final resting place. The opening is at 7pm on the 3rd of July at the Robert Burns Centre and the exhibiton will be taking place in what used to the Bonnie Bistro. The exhibition will run from tonight until the end of September during the usual opening hours. The exhibition is kindly supported by Ottersburn, contemporary fine art picture framers. The Museum will also be revealing some new scale models. Music, nibbles and speakers will round off the night.

Summerhill Community Centre will be hosting TSDG for a Health and Wellness Marketplace. Everything under one roof. An open workshop for anyone who needs access to tools and spares to repair their bike or work to bring an old bike back to life. Get help improving and sharing bike maintenance skills.

Low mobility walks which start from Summerhill Community Centre. They include a short 20 minute walk and 10-15 minutes of strength and balance exercises. These walks are suitable for people who walk at a slower pace or perhaps use walking aids. The exercises are important for improving strength, balance, stamina, flexibility and can help prevent falls.

**The creative spaces cohort are taking over Midsteeple Quarter’s (MSQ) front room, the standard, at 139 High Street. Join us for four days of workshops, games, music, performance, and creative experiments.** We’re starting our takeover off with something nice and casual. Come and drop in to see what we’ve got planned for the week and get to know the spacers. We’ll also be running a learn to repair session. If you’ve got a piece of clothing or a textile piece that needs a bit of repair, bring it in and spacer Lili will be able to help give you some tips and an introduction to techniques equipment to get you started. Whether you are an experienced repairer or it’s your first time, join in, have a chat about repair culture, and sustainability whilst prolonging the life of your favourite piece. Anyone who feels comfortable to share their repairing skills is welcome to come along and do so! **Accessibility Information** The Standard is a fully accessible building with street level entrances and disabled toilets.
