This exhibition features work in a variety of printmaking techniques including screenprint, etching, collagraph, relief print and cyanotype created by members of Southwest Scotland Printmakers. This volunteer-led printmaking cooperative fosters a vibrant community of artists, promotes printmaking as an art form, and helps provide access to quality printmaking facilities and resources, including the print studio at Gracefield. With 30 members taking part for this year’s winter show, there’s a wealth of talent in this selling exhibition. Offering the chance to buy framed work off the wall, unframed editions from browsers, and printed multiples such as Christmas cards, bookmarks and textiles.

Discover the art of linocut printmaking as Colin Blachard shares examples of his finished work and pieces in progress, and talks through his techniques. **Have a go** You’ll also have the chance to print on Gracefield’s beautiful antique Columbian Press or use a small portable press to create your own free bookmark, choosing from six lino blocks carved by Colin. **Printmaking demonstration: 11am to 2pm** Gracefield’s print workshop technician Sarah Keast will be demonstrating Intaglio Printmaking techniques using our large etching press and will answer any questions on the print workshop, techniques and how to join our open access workshop. **Christmas Craft Shop: ** As a little festive treat, you'll receive an early bird 10% discount on all Christmas Craft Shop stock.

Young at Heart is a social group for the over 50s, formed at Summerhill Community Centre in February 2012 and now more than 100 members strong. Music and dancing, guest speakers, bingo and games, every Monday from 2pm to 4pm. Everyone is made very welcome — come along one Monday, or call the centre on 01387 247344.

An open workshop for anyone who needs access to tools and spares to repair their bike or work to bring an old bike back to life. Get help improving and sharing bike maintenance skills.

We warmly welcome fresh faces, so why not come join us. Young or old, there is room for all. You don’t have to be an experienced singer or have sung in a choir before. So what else is worrying you? You don’t read music? Well neither do most of the choir. You are not a really good singer? You don’t need to be; enjoying music, singing and performing is enough, although you will be encouraged to learn your section part, i.e. bass, baritone, 1st or 2nd tenor. Section parts are readily available for members either via our website or on CD to assist learning. Why not come along and try it out for yourself, you will be most welcome. You don’t even need to sing just come for a listen. CHARITY BINGO NIGHT Get ready for a fantastic night of bingo, games, prizes and lots of laughs! The bingo night will be hosted by Andrew Twigg, aka Nurse Nellie Knickerlastic, who will be calling the numbers as we raise funds for the Guild of Players Youth member Hari, who is fundraising for a trip to Cambodia next year to do youth work. Tickets are FREE, but numbers are limited and the event will be ticketed. There will be 6 games of bingo plus a flyer, (£20 for 6 games, £3 for a flyer), along with other games and a raffle with some fantastic prizes. Andrew will be joined by James and Hari, who you will recognise as Snivel and Grovel in this year’s Panto. **Doors open:** 18:30

Calling all women - do you want to get to better grips with maintaining your bike? Or do you have excellent bike fettling skills you'd like to share with others? Or do you just want to spend a couple of hours every fortnight messing around with bikes in likeminded company? If you said yes to any of these, then Spanner Sisters is for you! Each session will consist of a short explanation/demonstration covering the basics of our chosen topic, followed by a chance to get some hands on practice, either on your own bike or one of the bikes in the workshop. We'll try and pair people up so they can share skills, tips and techniques so whether you're a complete beginner or an experienced bike wrencher, there will be something for you, we hope! As with all our Community Workshop sessions, we don't want price to be a barrier, so there's no fee for attending but a donation would be appreciated to help cover our costs and allow us to keep the workshop running. You can bring your bike if you want. especially if you want to practise on it, although if it is an ebike you will need to be able to remove the battery to bring it into the workshop (this is a condition of our insurance).
