Carson & Trotter, Chartered Accountants have been in existence for over 95 years and we have a varied client base serving clients largely in South West Scotland but also further afield. Our clients range from individuals to large limited companies, including family companies, and our services range from accounts preparation through to audit. We do our best to provide a friendly and personal service to our clients and a partner will always be available to deal with your queries. The firm consists of 4 partners – Douglas Murray, Roderick Williamson, Linda Brannock and Gillian Gray – who are all qualified Chartered Accountants, and many of whom trained with the firm to gain their Chartered Accountancy qualification. The partners have a wide range of experience in different areas and also have access to professional specialist contacts whenever required. This ensures that the service we provide is tailored to your individual needs. As registered auditors we are authorised to conduct audits of all sizes and this work is monitored on a regular basis by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland. Our main office is in Dumfries, with a further full time office in Castle Douglas, and also offices in Kirkcudbright and Moffat which are open one day a week to service the needs of clients in these areas.
