The organisation created and maintains Love Dumfries, providing a free community directory and business listing platform for local enterprises.

DPAG actively promotes local business, community initiatives, and civic engagement through digital platforms and collaborative work. The organisation embodies grassroots community leadership and strategic vision for the future development and prosperity of Dumfries.

It's back and it's going to be bigger than ever. The Big Dumfries Christmas Lights Switch On and Lights of Hope will happen at 7pm, but you can join us for an afternoon of music and fun, including headline performance from Kevin McGuire. **Main Stage (Plainstanes, Midsteeple, Dumfries High Street)** Running Order: * 3.00pm: Programme begins with Lee Medd and a mixture of Christmas Music. * 4.00pm: Troqueer Primary School * 4.15pm: Next Level Dance School * 4.30pm: Dumfries Music Collective (DMC) Emerging Talent * 4.45pm: Smash Global Training X Dumfries & Galloway College Professional Dance Students * 5.00pm: InStep Dance * 5.15pm: Ultimate Dance Effect * 5.30pm: Dumfries Community Choir * 5.45pm: Theatre Royal * 6.00pm: Dumfries Town Band * 6.15pm: Headline Performance: Kevin McGuire, accompanied by Cowboy Hustle Line Dancers * 6.45pm: DJ Rosehips (Producer Rose) welcomes in Santa * 7.00pm: Christmas Lights Switch On * 7.05pm: Santa Parade Commences at Midsteeple * 7.30pm: Finale with DJ Rosehips Alongside the main stage, we will also have Reid Amusements Fairground Rides, Jordan Patterson Balloons, Lockerbie Tractor Run and more.
