Dumfries And County Golf Club

Dumfries and County Golf Club is a prestigious 18-hole championship parkland course designed by Willie Fernie, the 1883 Open Championship winner, and refined by legendary designer James Braid in 1926. Located less than a mile from Dumfries town centre, the Par 69 course spanning 88 acres presents a challenging yet enjoyable round for golfers of all abilities. The club's greens are consistently praised for their quality, having been re-laid to USGA standards. With a distinguished history hosting major championships including the British Youth Championship and British Senior Ladies Championship, it remains a premier golfing destination in south Scotland.
