Nithsdale Rowing Club
Nithsdale Amateur Rowing Club, founded in 1865, is south Scotland's only Scottish Rowing-affiliated amateur rowing club, based on the banks of the River Nith at Greensands in Dumfries. The club welcomes rowers of all ages and abilities, offering programmes such as Learn2Row courses for beginners alongside competitive opportunities for experienced athletes. With a proud history spanning over 150 years, the club also hosts an annual regatta and is home to the Crichton Uni Boat Club.
