Outpost Arts

OutPost Arts delivers high-quality, meaningful, impactful, accessible and diverse programmes of arts that benefit the health, wellbeing and creative education of young people and adults from across Dumfries & Galloway - particularly those experiencing barriers and/or stigma due to disability, poor mental health, illness, isolation, poverty and trauma.

We work across sectors such as - health, social care, third sector, education, heritage and arts & culture. We deliver an embedded Art in Healthcare programme in partnership with NHS D&G, supporting patients, staff and visitors.

Current Work - DG Creative Wellbeing Project

OutPost Arts as a regional anchor for creative health and wellbeing in D&G. Since early 2023 we've delivered a ground-breaking, holistic programme of impactful arts activities, events and interventions, working in community, residential care and hospital settings.
