Solway Orienteering
Orienteering is an exciting outdoor sport about navigating around a course. Walk, jog, run – you decide!
Events range from:
🏘️ Urban neighbourhoods, such as Troqueer & Georgetown to
🌲 Rural forests such as Mabie & Heathhall.
Whilst the courses are set, how you get from one point to the next is up to you!
Our members range in age from 8 years old to 70 plus – this is one sport where everyone can join in.
We organise about 15 events a year within the Dumfries and Galloway region. Most of our events are in the vicinity of Dumfries and Dalbeattie with a few events close to Gatehouse of Fleet.
Newcomers are always welcome - come along and try orienteering for yourself at our next event or a permanent course! After 3x free taster events we hope you will consider becoming a member.
